Where we use the Intellectual Property of others, we will make this clear and state the terms upon which we have permission to use those materials.

Work created by participants and shared during modules does not belong to AIConfident. The owner of the Intellectual Property will depend on what arrangement that participant has with the entity funding their place.

Privacy

We work hard to protect everyone’s personal data as set out in our Privacy Policy.

The data protection lead is AIConfident’s Director, Tim Cook, whom you can contact by emailing tim@aiconfident.co.uk with reference to a data protection issue.

AIConfident is a UK company which means that our Data Protection Authority is the Information Commissioner’s Office. You can contact them directly if you are not satisfied with AIConfident’s response to your issue. Their details are here: https://ico.org.uk/global/contact-us/

We also want to ensure we protect data that is confidential to people’s work or organisation. We will never ask you to share something about your organisation that is confidential to the business, but we do want participants to share the draft approaches they are developing so they can get feedback from both the facilitators and their peers. This is what the module session are designed for.

For this reason, we won’t virtual sessions where learners are sharing. We hope this will make participants more confident to share during these sessions.

We ask you to respect the confidentiality of your fellow participants. Treat the information that they share about their organisations and what they are developing as confidential to this cohort. We may terminate this agreement if we find you in violation of this.

Refunds

We have great confidence in the value and quality of our workshops. We appreciate that situations for organisations and individuals can change very quickly, and this could change the suitability of the programme for that organisation or individual. For these reasons, we offer a Module 2 Money-back Guarantee to all participants on the programme.

If before the date of the second module, you decide not to continue with the programme, AIConfident will provide you with a full refund if you provide written notice to tim@aiconfident.co.uk before the day of the second module. If you attend the second module, or fail to give notice by then, this offer becomes void.

Your statutory rights still apply.

Conduct

To ensure a positive and inclusive environment for all, we ask that participants follow these guidelines of conduct during online sessions and any other interaction with participants or facilitators:

Respect: Treat facilitators and peers with respect at all times. AI presents an number of ethical dilemmas, and you may not necessarily agree with your peers on their interpretation of the right approach. Everyone has the right to express their opinions and ideas without fear of judgment or criticism. In many aspects we are all learning together!

Listening: Listen actively and attentively to facilitators and peers. Avoid interrupting or talking over others, and give everyone a chance to speak. If you have a question or comment, wait until the appropriate time to speak, and keep it relevant to the discussion. We want to hear your thoughts and experiences, but not at the expense of others.

Discrimination: Avoid any form of discrimination or harassment based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, age, or any other characteristic. We have a zero-tolerance policy for any kind of discrimination or harassment and will take appropriate action if necessary.

Confidentiality: Respect the confidentiality of information shared during online sessions. Do not share any information outside of the group without the explicit permission of the facilitator or participant who shared it.

Inclusivity: Ensure that everyone feels included and valued during online sessions. Avoid monopolising the conversation or excluding anyone from the discussion. Embrace diversity and seek to learn from different perspectives and experiences no matter where you or they are in their impact journey.

Technical Conduct: Ensure that you are using the necessary equipment, such as a functioning microphone and webcam, and that you have a stable internet connection. Avoid multitasking or engaging in any activity that could disrupt the session, such as checking emails, eating, or making noise in the background. We recognise that people have other things going on in their life, but we kindly ask that you make a sincere effort to enhance your own experience and the experience of others to the best of your ability.

We believe that following these guidelines will help create a respectful and inclusive environment for everyone to learn and grow together.

We will remind participants of these at the start of each module.
